I put my two cents in
That's one heck of a party... I can't imagine the crowds. LSU is in the Capital One Bowl on Jan. 1. I bet WDW will be infiltrated by purple and gold.

I would just love to be there for one of the actual holidays but Mike doesn't want to go. I would like to see it.
When the kids were little we used to go for the 4th of July. Now I just realize how crazy that was. I'm not a big fan of a packed house.
So can anyone tell me what kind of mad house it will be? Eva and I were thinking of braving the crowds, but I don't know if it is worth it. Let me know. Thanks.
For MK, it's typical that if you aren't in by noon, I wouldn't count on getting in, and Epcot usually follows right after. With that being said, Christmas is also normally one of the busiest days and while we were busy, we did not hit capacity, at all.
Since I already told Kyle, I'll post it again here. MK does their fireworks on both the 30th and 31st so if you want to see them, see them the day before. You can also watch them from the beach of Poly, which is beautiful from a hammock. You can then go to Studios and watch them from outside the gate without ever having to fight the crowd in, and also, able to get out that much faster. It's not a bad view from there since they are shot off from the theater and behind the Hat.
How can you get on the beach at the Poly without having reservations? Or can you?
My daughter just made reservations today at Old Key West, she's going to the Capital One Bowl. I would have never guessed they still had studios available.
Kyle, you can park at the MK parking and take the monorail there (or walk since you can do that as well). Tell the you are going to the Poly to watch the fireworks and they won't charge you and then just drive into the MK parking lot. Since it's busy, the Poly security will ask at the gate if you have reservations.
