As you know, I was watching and waiting and waiting and waiting for Southwest to release their flights for Nationals in February.
I booked our flights the day they came out and paid $639.60 for all 3 tickets.
The dance studio will not have the meeting to plan the trip until next week so they have not started booking flights. They really want us to book at one time with their travel agent but I learned the first time that I could save much more doing everything myself.
I just went to look online to see how much the same tickets are today... 1 week later... $1,155.00!!!
They are going to have a hard time wiping this smile off my face at their meeting!!

I was shocked when I found a $139 round trip for December. It's gone up since then but not like what yours did.

WDW... June 2011, I can't wait!!
The first year we did this I offered to help them put it all together and they turned me down saying they know what they are doing. I went with them and swore I would never throw away money like that again! Last trip was the first DVC thing and they were not happy about that.
This year they are a little more understanding because of all of my medical bills. So, they did not give me a hard time about booking on my own. But that will not stop me from smiling!!!!
I can only guess why they want control. I've been around dance companies/schools for many many years...
