We finished our remodel project and we came way in under budget because I did all the work myself. 

My fantastic wife has been saving some money every month and she totally surprised me by making reservations with our T/A, Tracey from AAA and booked us into POFQ for five nights in May. 

We are traveling May 17th to May 22nd.  (My birthday is the 19th.) She even used our air miles and booked our flight on Delta without telling me until last night.  Patti's son, Chris, Shanda and Bailey may be joining us.  We'll know shortley.

Patti also took the time to book our ADR's for the following:  

Garden Grill, dinner on the 17th.

Donalds Breakfestosorous, 19th,   Le Cellier for dinner, 19th,

Ohana's for dinner 20th.

Mama Melrose, dinner 21st.

I am so excited.........   I'm going to spend me 60th birthday with Mickey and the gang !

Pogo, I can't even tell you how happy we are for you and Patti!!!  I won't pop your hot air balloon that never lands afterall, a good lesson as to how positive thinking (and a bit of quick thinking on Pattis part) can make a difference. Most of the time when folks complain they don't realize that in just that time they spent complaining they probably could have worked out a great start to fixing their problem.... ok... sorry... the soap box has been vacated. As much as people don't want to hear "chin up" etc. (I'm guilty of wanting to feel sorry for myself for a few minutes) but even if I didn't want to hear it, you said it and most times I needed to hear it. Anyway, you guys practiced what you preached and made it happen, congrats!

Itinerary for Walt Disney World, 60^th Birthday Trip 2010

 

 Day 1, Monday May 17^th,

 

Epcot

Magic Kingdom

At the airport at by 5:00 AM for our 6:00 AM departure for Orlando.  

 

We arrive in Orlando at 12:41 PM.  Board Magical Express to POFQ, and hopefully will be there by 2:00 PM.  After check in we will depart for Epcot. 

 

5:40 PM Dinner at Garden Grill with Mickey, Minnie, Chip and Dale

 

“Must do’s ” today:  Spaceship Earth, Test Track, Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Splash, Space and Thunder Mountain, Jungle Cruise, Laugh Floor and Wishes.

 Day 2, Tuesday May 18^th

 

Animal Kingdom in the AM

Ok So I have to say that it is quite sad that with so many people I know going, I am getting OBSESSED with THEIR trips!  I want to know what people are doing, where they are staying, where they're eating!  I know its sad, but I'm excited that you are going and can't wait for a trip report!!!

 

Now, I think you've just inspired me to write my own pre-trip report, which I haven't done in quite some time!
