Day 3 Nassau

We awake after a good nights sleep as we are pulling into Nassau. We really don’t have plans for today. We get up and moving and head to Beach Blanket Buffet for breakfast and I enjoy our meal here. As we look out they have 3 Carnival cruise ships in dock. We go back and decide to head down to the market right off the ship to see what they have. When we get there it is HOT. No air condition and lots of folks. We walk around but I am still tired from yesterday so Sherrie has mercy on me and we head back to the ship after not to long walking around. When we get back to the room I notice that one of the life boats is running around the dock area. Well I go outside and every one of the life boats from the starboard side are in the water and running around. We go have lunch at Beach Blanket Buffet and I run over to the kid’s side and get some stuff.  I really did not like what was on the adult side. After lunch Sherrie wants to go see the movie. I go to write these reports and Sherrie heads to watch Alice in Wonderland. So I guess I’ll head back and see if the room is clean and maybe catch a little nap. Well no such luck. 10 minutes after I got into bed Sherrie came back in. At this time I see that another Carnival cruise ship is now in port which makes 4 of them. Off to another adventure. We wander around the ship and go check out the new Outlook Café that has been added to the ship. Soon it is time to get ready for dinner. Tonight’s dinner is once again at Artist Palatte. The difference is that we have been taken over by Pirates and are now a crew of pirates. Dinner is from a special menu that Capt. Jack Sparrow has made up. To start the night 2 of our table mates went to Palo’s last night and did not open the bottle of champagne that they had so that we could all have some tonight to celebrate our other table mates 25^th anniversary. For dinner I had the bbq beef ribs as well as Sherrie. Very good and for dessert we had Barbossa’s rum soaked cake don’t quite remember the real name but it was very good. We are now leaving Nassau and our on our way to open water and the Pirate Party. We notice that we cannot see the sun set and there is a lot of clouds all over. We had some light sprinkles during the day but no rain. That ship was all over the place trying to find a dry spot for the party. The party starts and it is also different than the last time. Mickey comes in and starts the fireworks and then we dance… why? Because we Can can can!……. After that the Pirate buffet opens and we had to get a turkey leg. We also got a few other things and head back to the room. They give us real silverware this time and it makes eating the turkey leg much easier than last year. Soon we are off to bed.

Sounds like another good day except maybe you should have gone to the movie with Sherrie..... might have gotten a better nap there ;)
