Ok as you all know I have been to WDW over 25 times. While we all like trip reports I thought I would type this one a little different. Let’s say from another perspective. More like a first time trip with no planning. No message board checking just a little different. I hope you enjoy them as they are still what we did while we were in WDW after our Disney Cruise.
The Recovery Trip

WDW Day 3
Well today finds us sleeping in till 9:15. We did have a late night last night. We did not get in bed till after 1am. I got ready and went to go get breakfast from Roaring Fork again. Yes I really like the breakfast from there. I head back to the room and we eat and finish getting ready. Downtown Disney is our destination this morning. We had planned to look around and then grab a sandwich from Earl Of Sandwich but Sherrie found a painting at Art Of Disney that she could not live without. It is by Larry Dotson and it is of the Wilderness Lodge. Well it just so happens that Larry Dotson is there today and we talk to him and they will package it up for us for travel. So we had looked at the Christmas store and back to the World of Disney to see what we could find. Nothing stood out so we ran to get a sandwich and back to get the painting. Well the line at Earl of Sandwich was so long. It was all the way into the store next door so we had a change of plans. We get the painting and drive back to the resort. We are having dinner at Beaches and Cream at this Beach Club Resort. I hear that place is so cool…… We get back to the Log Resort and grab some chicken nuggets from the food court. After that we thought that a dip in the big cement pond called Hidden Springs was in order. Time was flying by and it was time to get out and get ready for dinner. Soon we are driving over to the Beach Club. We arrive at this big place but I don’t see any beach. We park and walk into to the biggest beach house I have ever seen. We are meeting Jeanne here but we are here before her. We walk around the back and find the beach we are looking for. Soon we are at the place we are looking for, Beaches and Cream. After a little wait Jeanne and Jim are there and we get seated. I order the bacon cheese burger. Boy was it good, hot and fresh. After that Sherrie decides we are getting a sundae. Sherrie got the Brownie A la mode. Man that thing comes out and WOW it looks so good. I have not had anything like this in the last several years and I am enjoying this. We finish it off and are stuffed. We part ways with Jeanne and Jim and are going to Magic Kingdom again.
We arrive at 9pm. Wow this place is crowded! The first showing of the Electrical Parade is passing as we enter the gates so we decide to watch some of it from the train station. While the parade is still passing by we decide to make our way through the crowded walkways and head to the right where we discover this land that is called Tomorrowland. We find that you can go to the laugh floor, escape with some creature called Stitch, but we got drafted to fight Zurg. We were installed as Spacerangers. We are taught how to use our weapons and board our space ship. We are soon in battle defending our galaxy. Soon we are rewarded and have won our battle against Zurg. After that we made our way to watch the new fireworks show called Nightastic. Very nice show and some cool effects.
We walk down the pathway into Adventureland and find a nice boat ride. It is called Jungle Cruise…. We buy a ticket and get in line to board… Nice…. they have the radio on and you get to hear what is going on around the Congo and Amazon… They are looking for some lost folks from a boat that got lost…. We get to the front of the line and board… We have a very nice skipper and little did we know he is very funny… He tells us to wave to the folks we left on the dock since we will never see them again…. OK but I never saw them before now… We wave anyway. As we head into the jungle we get to see all kinds of animals and hear some good jokes…. After a few hours we make it half way and the jokes are not so funny now….. Then we are attacked by elephants and then hippos. Just when you think it can’t get worse we go into a cave….. Do you know it was full of snakes???? Why did it have to be snakes???? We make it out alive only to be attacked by head hunters. Finally we make it back to the dock and I fall off the boat and kiss the ground.
Our journey continues in this land of adventure as we come upon a large Spanish Fort. We enter its gates and continue down the walk way past cannons, rifles, and even jail cells till we come upon boats. Wow it is now night time as we board the vessels. I think we have been drafted into service as pirates. As our dingy pulls away from the dock I believe we are heading to the larger pirate ship where we will board and meet our new Captain Jack Sparrow. Not long into out voyage we come across Davey Jones. I know this is not good and then we hear Dead Men Tell NO Tales……. And we come to a few unlucky souls that did not make it off the island….. A storm is brewing and we are swept up in it. We hit a large wave and just our luck the pirate ship we are headed to is under fire….. We are unable to board and head to safety. I see Captain Jack in town as we head by. Some of the crew has been caught and are in jail. It will be ok they are trying to get a dog that has the keys and they have a bone. Sounds like a nice trade to me. Finally we see Captain Jack has found the treasure and won’t be needing any more crew for now and we are released.
We make our way over to Frontierland and wait for a parade called Disney’s Electrical Parade. After being delayed the parade finally begins and Tinkerbell in out front. This parade has all kinds of light and I even saw a dragon that disappears right before your eyes. After the parade we make our way back to Main Street and make our way out the park since it is now after midnight. While we wait for the bus at the bus stop we get to see the Monorails backing over the switch backwards so they can get back to the roundhouse. Soon we are back on our bus and back at the resort for the night.
