Pogo - I just finished reading your article. What can I say....WOW. What a great article (and yes I cried)!!!! Thanks for sharing your experiences with all of us. Keep it coming...
Pogo, a fantastic article. Thanks for sharing with us.
How beautiful. A sad story that makes you smile.
Thanks everyone............. I didn't see this posted here until today.
Every time I get another client diagnosed with cancer, I think of Betty and then tell this same story to my client.
The message I try to convey is to live your life to the fullest, every day of your life. Does it sound familiar ? Maybe that's why I like Mondays so much. It is another beautiful day given as a gift from our Father to enjoy.
On a sad note...... Today........ I've got another new cancer patient with both Breast and lung. I'm afraid she is headed down a very long road.
With that in mind.......... Ladies...... if you haven't had a mammogram lately, please do it !
I want to put my two cents in
Tom,
That is a great article. It is sad yet I was happy to read that Betty got to spend the quality time with her family before it was too late.
As much as I go through I always remember to tell my family how important they are to me. The Good Lord knew what he was doing when He sent me Bobby. He has been my light through all of the darkness.
Thank you for sharing and reminding me just how lucky I am.
I put my two cents in
What a beautiful story, Pogo. Wow, it sure did bring tears to my eyes. You did a great job in writing it. Well done. I know battling Crohn's and coming near death 3 times - I'm so thankful for my faith in the Lord - it's sure got me through my illness and still is. I have so much compassion towards people who are going through any kind of illness. Thank you for sharing this too!
A little update on my client that was diagnosed with lung and breast cancer.
She passed away in late November but I am still processing her claim paperwork for her estate. As it turned out, she had a lot more illness than cancer. She was diabetic, overweight and had a heart condition as well as renal failure so I am glad she went so quickly.
Live each day as if it is your last, because you never know when you will be called home..... and remember..... pogo loves you.
