Well Bret, can I say I'm a little surprised you had your eyes open since you were a passenger? But, if you had been driving, do you know I would have been really unhappy if you had had your eyes closed? 
Beth, where are our sample brownies? Don't you know we want to taste them with M&M's baked inside? 
Do you know they've backed off on the ice forecast? Do you think that makes us more likely to get some ice?

Do you know I like chewy brownies? Do you want the recipe? Isn't it one box of brownie mix, follow instructions, sprinkle m&M's on top and bake? Can you hold on while I make another batch?

Could the brownies be on the other side of the bridge? Rhonda you know I"m talking about the BIG Mississippi bridge on I-10 as you enter BR. Do you know I'm right by Blue Bayou Water Park? Bret you know the Ragin Cajun is there? Do you know they still have the orginal sign on it?

Do you know on TV they said it was the original? do you know it looks like the old pictures? Do you know I looked up the place that says they have the original and it doesn't look like any ride I've ever been on it's all yellow and green and looks like primeval whirl? Did you ride a Ragin Cajun with big round seats that held about 4 ppl and spun around? Do you know I think ppl on the internet make mistakes??? Do you know I see this ride w/ my eyes?  Do you think ppl from who knows where could have mixed things up? Why would the ride look totally different at this "original place"?

Beth, can you believe that I don't really remember the exact route we took? Do you remember telling me that we stopped at your exit or the next one? Would that mean we went over that bridge?

Actually can you believe the bridge is so wide you can actually cross it and not realize you are crossing the Mississippi River? did you take I-20 to I-49 to I -10? do you know it's between Angel's house and mine and you cross so much swamp and water it seems like you are on more bridges than not? Do you think the creepiness comes in from it's height from the ground?

Do you know that I know that we took all those roads, but that it seems like we took another sort of country road in there somewhere?
Do you know that the bridge that I dislike is the one over Lake Ponchatrain due to the proximity of the water?

which one-- the interstate or the causeway which is 24 miles long? Do you know the mean depth of the lake is only 5.5 or 6 ft deep? Do you know you could practically walk across the whole thing?

Do you know there are bridges in the Seattle area that are pontoon bridges? Do you know they float on the water? Do you know if it's really windy they have to close the bridges because they are so low the water splashes onto the bridges?
Do you know I've been on I-10 between NO and Slidell over Lake Pontchartrain but not the Causeway that goes from NO to the Northshore? Do you know I have not had a reason to be on that bridge? Do you know if I do have a reason to take it, I will? Do you know I'm not scared of it anymore? Do you know it's not the height of it above the water that freaks me out, but the length? Do you know it's 24 miles long (I think)? Do you know I got stuck in traffic in a tunnel yesterday and that gives me the heeby jeebies? Do you know I don't like that there is water in the bottom of the tunnel? |

Did anyone tell you that the interstate one is only 5 miles long? or did they say it does have a big hump in it and fell apart in Katrina?
